Cartier Must Vendome Vermeil
150th Anniversary
Limited Edition of 1847 Pieces Worldwide
This is a Must Vendome, a limited edition model of 1847 pieces worldwide, released in 1997 to commemorate Cartier's 150th anniversary.
While we have previously stocked the 150th-anniversary model in the Must Tank, this is our first time receiving the Must Vendome, which is extremely rare in circulation and likely sold by very few retailers.
What's more, it's a striking LM size, a discontinued men's model from the past. It's a popular size for women who prefer a larger watch, and it also fits men without feeling out of place.
Unlike the regular Must series, the dial features a guilloché pattern, the cabochon is changed to red, and the case back has a "L♡C" Love Cartier mark, a limited edition plate, and the vermeil is in script.
There is a secret signature at the 7 o'clock index.
The original RED band and Cartier D-buckle from that time remain.
The original buckle, also called a D-buckle, is said to have been invented by Cartier. Compared to the pin-buckle type of regular leather straps, I think it's a groundbreaking design that is significantly easier to put on and causes less wear and tear on the leather.
The current wrist size is about 15.0 cm, but it can be extended by about another 3.5 cm.

※Condition
A watchmaker has opened the case back and checked the movement. It is a clean movement, and the circuit has no issues, so an overhaul is not currently necessary.
Boiling, ultrasonic cleaning, inspection, and light polishing have been performed. A new battery has also been installed, so you should not have to worry about the battery running out for the next 2-3 years.
The gold has good luster and shine, and I believe it's in good condition. There is no peeling of the plating on the case, which is common with this model. Both the dial and crystal are clean with no noticeable damage.
