This luxurious cocktail watch features diamonds circling the bezel and generously set above and below the lugs. The chunky diamonds are even whiter, brighter, and more brilliant than they appear in photos. I believe this is a museum-quality jewelry watch that rarely comes up for sale.

It is a back-wind model, a signature design of antique Jaeger-LeCoultre ladies' watches, where the crown is located on the back and not visible from the front. Winding the manual movement and adjusting the time are done with the round crown on the back.

Back-wind watches are only produced by a select few high-end manufacturers, and only for their premium lines, which is why there are no inexpensive models. The limited number of existing pieces makes this model highly rare.

Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of the few watchmaking manufactures that handles everything from component manufacturing to assembly in-house. "LeCoultre" was a brand created by Jaeger-LeCoultre for the American market. When "Jaeger" is added, the price immediately increases.
