These earrings are crafted using natural sakura-colored freshwater pearls. Their sakura color is completely natural, not dyed.

Unlike typical freshwater pearls, nucleated freshwater pearls are cultivated by inserting a nucleus and mantle tissue, similar to Akoya pearls.

While Akoya pearls are cultivated underwater for 8 months or more, nucleated freshwater pearls are cultivated for a longer period of 24 months or more. This extended cultivation allows for a thick nacre layer to form, producing deep luster and rich interference colors.

These pearls are incredibly labor-intensive, with only one pearl produced per mother oyster.

They are also undyed and unenhanced, showcasing their beautiful natural color.

These beautiful pearls redefine the image of freshwater pearls, which are often considered inferior to Akoya pearls due to their lower cost. They possess the luster of Akoya, the volume of South Sea pearls, and the unique colors characteristic of Hyriopsis cumingii mussels.
