This is a Rolex Chameleon, just back from overhaul.

It's named "Chameleon" for a very witty reason: like a chameleon, it can change its color freely.

Originally, it was sold as a set with a variety of belts, allowing the wearer to easily change them to match their clothes or bag, depending on their mood that day.

While several designs exist, this one has "Orchid" written in white at the 6 o'clock position. Orchid refers to the orchid flower, and it seems to have been engraved as a mark for solid gold cases at the time of sale.

The Chameleon is a highly notable watch, having been desired by "Sakurako Jinno," played by actress Nanako Matsushima in the popular old drama "Yamato Nadeshiko," and worn by Satomi Ishihara.

The Chameleon first appeared in the 1950s after World War II, but unfortunately, its production ended around 1970, about 20 years after its debut.
Now it can only be found as an antique, making it a highly valuable and rare wristwatch.

This white strap is for the Chameleon, but it is unclear if it is a genuine Rolex part. However, straps for the Chameleon are still sold by Rolex.
