French Antique Ring
Natural Diamond

This is a delicate and beautiful diamond ring believed to have been made around 1900, during the Art Nouveau period.

Rings designed to curve gently and fit the finger are called "dome rings" in French.

The domed face features gently curved openwork, meticulously set with diamonds.

The shoulders are adorned with granulation, and the ring incorporates many antique techniques, such as the bifurcated shape unique to antique rings, known as a split shank.

It has undergone X-ray examination and appraisal in Japan.
